Sunrise Gurney is an award winning design contemporary living/working space in the most coveted position along Gurney Drive, Penang prominent waterfront. The design brief caters to the modern, working class individual embracing the urban lifestyle. The facade, an allegory of the Chinese curiosity cabinet is playful and imaginative, individually framing the apartments within. The design of these apartments breaks away from the conventional typology of urban residential housing in Penang. The built up (Sq Ft) 794 Sq ft & 980 Sq Ft (with sea view),the first 24-storey commercial suites which comprises 4 storeys of commercial complex and SOHO offices. Sunrise Gurney is a strategic, convenient and trendy place to work and live in.
We spent a few weeks to complete this Sunrise Gurney assignment by shooting from the inside and with models at some of the locations. Beside that our exterior shots cover from surrounding the building in order to get the best angles, we also shoot from the sea and with a drone shot from the air. The sea view is extraordinary especially during sunrise. each unit offers unending sea breezes and mesmerizing sunrise view which makes living in Sunrise Gurney a delight.
