Mother nature is one of my favorite shooting subject as it always give you surprise. This series of shooting is tougher because I have to follow and be sensitive to the changing of weather, due to the hazy condition and time frame given, I don't really have much time to shoot what I shoot best. Here are some mother nature scenes I manage to capture for the pass 2 months Rainbow - Is one of the mother nature that people love to see. Because it is colourful, it brings joy to people but how often do you see rainbow in a year? Is hard to spot because it only appear in the early morning or late evening, and the most important is it only appear with rain and sunlight at the same time. I spot this rainbow when I was on the road, but without a good foreground it doesn't appear to be a good photo. It took be 10 mins drive to reach the esplanade and I was lucky enough to see it is over a ship.

Red rainbow - It’s rare to see a red rainbow, when I'm about to leave after the rainbow has gone, the red rainbow appear in the sky by surprise, Red rainbows happen when the sun is on the horizon and it only last for a very short time.

Stormy Night - Lightning is one of my favorite in mother nature shooting, you can't predict the pattern that's why its always give you surprise. Is quite dangerous to shoot the lightning in open space. the best is to find a shelter or some where safe. Lightning is challenging because once you saw it you have to go, and you have to find a good location base on the lightning direction. I was actually quite late for the shot, this is the left over.

Midnight Storm - Caught this by surprise, I was actually shooting milkyway that night. is a long shooting night, so witness some weather changing, the lightning is far from where I stand, is quite safe to shoot in the open space at that time.

Rainstorm - A beautiful sunrise scene has turn into some massive rainstorm in less than an hour. This time I have no where to run and all wet. This is the beautiful of mother nature, you never know what it going to show you.

Rain fall - Nothing much to say about this image, just right place and the right time.

Haze Attack - Many people also suffer from the current haze situation due to the forest fire in Indonesia. Hazy condition also can be something nice to shoot for, but the air is making me sick, so I just manage to capture some simple shot near by.

Sky one Fire - rainbow appear when sunlight and rain cloud in the opposite direction, if they are in the same direction you normally can see burning sky. This is the beauty of mother nature. I call it sky on fire.

These are the reason why I love nature and landscape photography so much, because you never know what your mother nature will show you next, always be prepare and brave for it.
