Once a year the waterfall in Botanical Garden will open for the public viewing in this international water Day. Many photographers waited this once in a year chance to take photos of this amazing waterfall. The main challenge is there won't be a fixed date on the event, we need to go to PBA office or call them up to confirm the date. mostly the date will be fall on the month of April Things turn out to be a little bit different now, after with my previous experience with the waterfall in Botanical Garden, this year I went in the evening. Due to the sun direction, you may get the uneven lighting, especially blow out on the top part of the waterfall. To be able to get a decent shot, you need to have a tripod, cable release, Nd filter and CPL filter. These are the thing I normally carry with me when I'm out to shoot a waterfall.
My wife can't go with me because it needs to hike a distance, we are expecting our first child in the month of June. So she waited me down there while doing her walking exercise. I took about half an hour to finish my shooting, I'm lucky to get some raining day before the visit, and the waterfall is stronger than the years before, so trust me this is the best shot I ever got for this waterfall after trying a several times.
